Our Placement Process

    Full-time Placements
    We work closely with our clients to match the skills, competencies, and characteristics of successful
    candidates to their unique hiring needs.  This may include interviewing hiring managers, peers, and direct
    reports to solicit their input, reviewing related job descriptions provided by the client, and analyzing industry
    benchmark data.  We then source and screen candidates, and provide briefs and resumes for those
    candidates our clients choose to interview.  Additionally, we will facilitate the general interview and offer
    processes.  We typically work on a retainer basis, but will consider alternative arrangements on a
    case-by-case basis.

    Interim Placements
    Maverick Search has developed an extensive network of independent consultants, or “associates,”
    whom we place in a wide range of interim roles.  Our associates participate in projects for strategy
    consulting delivery teams, private equity due diligence teams, and in product/brand management,
    strategic planning, and marketing strategy groups.  Some clients need a skilled number-cruncher for
    a short, intensive period to help look at customer profitability, ROI on various marketing programs, or
    cost allocations within a manufacturing plant. Other clients have an interim need for a business analyst
    to size markets and prioritize distribution alternatives, or a senior consultant to work with half a dozen
    VPs, collecting their input on market opportunities and roadblocks.  Our associates are located across
    the country, and available for both short- and long-term assignments.

    Occasionally our clients decide to hire our associates on a full-time basis, which we refer to as a
    contract-to-hire.  In this case, we add a conversion fee over and above our contract placement fee.
